I had a realisation this week….last year, I worked with an amazing coach and she was brilliant. She helped me in so many ways and I loved working with her.

But I also believe that you don’t have to do everything your coach tells you because you need to learn to trust your instincts too.

She advised me on a particular launch and I wasn’t sure. I wanted to do something a little different.

Even though she had sound reasons for her suggestion, I still felt pulled towards my instinct.

So a la Frank Sinatra, I did it my way.

And for a long time, even though my business has beautifully flourished and more since then, I have been CONSTANTLY second guessing myself because I didn’t follow her advice and my launch was not successful.

As I was chatting about this with my sis, I remembered watching a video of Oprah and something she said has stuck with me….

‘There are no mistakes’.

Whilst I knew that in my head, I didn’t get it in my heart.

Then I realised something…

Within a week of my unsuccessful launch, I had an idea and a week later, I launched the Momentum Circle which has been the most successful launch I have done so far in my biz.

If I had not made the ‘mistake’, I would never have created the Momentum Circle which I am so proud of.

It was in that moment of despair and feeling so crappy, so downhearted and so ashamed of my ‘failure’ that I actually decided to focus on my zone of genius and what I am really good at and create!

I am flipping awesome at helping people create clarity, create momentum in their business and I help them get out of their own way and that’s how the Circle was born.

Six months on, I am so proud of my members, the momentum we’re creating and the amazing passion this movement is creating.

It really is the best thing I have ever created in my business. And my continuing business success is because of the Momentum Circle.

When the launch failed, I was pretty pissed off with my instincts but sometimes your instincts won’t take you to where you want to go but where you need to go and right now, I am so thankful my instincts took me on a detour and brought me here.

Trusting your instincts, learning to stop seeking validation from others and being decisive in business (even if your legs are shaking) are skills you need to succeed and thrive.

So if you’ve been second guessing yourself and looking for others to show you the way, here’s my advice….

Go within.
Get familiar with your instincts.
Stop resisting them and LISTEN.

Now it’s your turn….do you listen to your instincts?  Share your story below!

Have a fab day lovely,
Yasmin x
