In this episode, let’s talk about what you need to do before creating a premium package…
Today I want to talk to you about the very first thing that you need to think about before you create a premium package.
Firstly, what do I mean by premium package? You might have heard it being called a big ticket offer, high end program or a VIP program.
Essentially it’s something that you can charge quite a lot of money for, however a premium package is not just something that you add a zero to your existing package.
And then just think ‘Oh, I’ll charge lots of money and I’ll get really rich and I’ll be happy but nobody else will be’.
As with everything that we do it has to be full of integrity and full of value and that is a core element, but that’s not what I wanted to talk to you about today.
Before you dive into the strategy of how to create a premium package and what you’re gonna include, the widgets and bells and whistles, ask yourself this question.
Who do I need to become in order to deliver this transformation?
This is crucial, because it speaks to the heart of who you are in your business.
When you’re creating a premium package, it’s about packaging an amazing transformation.
Something that your super ideal client would want.
You creat a container for this transformation to take place and you package it to help your client create that result.
It’s a way for you to do your best work and be well paid for it.
At the heart of this, you need to be able to trust in yourself and your ability to be able to deliver this transformation.
You need to believe that you can deliver this transformation.
Do you believe in yourself?
Do you believe that you can help your client? When someone says to me to me their package is not selling, I find more often than not that it’s not that there’s anything wrong with the package.
It’s not that there’s anything wrong with the marketing or the sales page.
It’s about what’s going on internally and the misalignment that you have with your package.
If you don’t believe in your ability to be able to deliver on it, then you are not going to be able to convince anybody else.
You wo’t get someone to invest in you, because they need to believe that you can deliver.
When someone signs up for a premium package, they doubt themselves, but their belief in you needs to be bigger than their own self-doubt.
Once you have established this, now you can start designing it and getting all excited and planning retreat days, and spa days and whatever else that you want to add in to your package, but before you do any of those things you need to get your inner alignment in place.
You need to know that you can deliver this, that you trust in yourself to deliver on this.
Believe in yourself and know that it is about you delivering massive value and not just adding a zero to the end of a package price because that’s not what this is about.
Yes, you will be paid for it, but you’re going to be exchanging massive value, not time, and that is at the heart of a premium package.
As you can imagine, there’s loads more to talk about premium packages, but that’s it for now.
